Connecting Kids to Christ

Sis. Connie Smith is our Team Member of the Year. Sis. Faire tells us that she is an amazing teacher. She is the first one at the First Pentecostal Church in Cape Girardeau every Sunday morning. She puts on a pot of coffee for all the teachers and starts creating an atmosphere of praise for her students.

She goes above and beyond for all her kids. Even though they are so little, she teaches them The Lord’s Prayer, Acts 2:38, and the the fruit of the Spirit every year, with great results.

The parents love her and are so glad she is teaching their children. They send her clips of her kids reciting what they have learned almost weekly. It is a delight to go by her room during class and hear her little ones repeat the words of the Lord after her. She teaches with true joy and inspiration and her room is always decorated bright and beautiful.

Sis. Connie has taught Sunday School at FPC for 19 years and we would be devastated should she ever decide to give it up.
